The place in the picture above is Matri Mandir (A Spiritual World Heritage Site) located in the beautiful beach town of the Union Territory of Pondicherry (now re-named as Puducherry). Besides other tourist attractions, the city features Sri Aurobindo Ashram (founded by Spiritual Guru – Shri Aurobindo in the year 1926.
